I am not a number! I am a free man! :D

You are so right. I adore that show, but I never wanted to actually live it haha

I am thankful for brilliant minds like McGoohan who at least tried to warn us and help those who were willing to listen deal with our modern Psy-Pop World. Now it's up to us to carry the torch!

Thanks so much for the encouraging words and mentions. Your notes here are really notable. How did I miss them on notes?

You must have wisely blocked me on Notes! haha

Jokes aside, I find it can be hard to keep up with stuff on Notes as well. Not sure if it is a UI/UX issue or I'm just not doing it right ha!

And you are very welcome. I always look forward to you posts, and I'm happy if I can help give some credit and some added exposure to all the great work you and others are doing.

Thanks so much. Great comment. I think we all feel the social media aspect of Notes. World of scrolling and being flooded with material. There are only 24 hours in a day -still - despite AI promises of eternal life. And our planetary nights and days are disrupted by mismatched cycles of day and night ona round planet. Wonder what AI plans to do about that. Flat earth?

Keeping up is overrated.

"Keeping up is overrated" is my new personal mantra :D

And I've seen and read enough sci-fi to know that AI will eventually figure this all out, and as Richard Brautigan put it, we'll "all be watched over by machines of loving grace."

Either that or Terminators.

Also speaking of flat earth--my favorite segue lol--I have actually been listening to some debates on that topic recently! I'm not going to try and sway people either way, but I must say I've been impressed by the flat-earth proponents (people like Austin Witsit and Flat Earth Dave) as they are generally waaay more decorous, affable, and informed than than the globe-earth proponents. I swear, the people they find to defend the globe-earth on a lot of these debates (like McToon and Prof. Dave) have to be making more flat-earthers by the appearance because, good gravy, are they are obnoxious and condescending haha
