Come to think of it, superheroes should not be allowed to wear masks. Just what are they trying to hide from us, anyway? Are they ugly? Are they Muslim women? (NOT trying to equate the two; and actually, the original intent is to not distract the lusty men from their important religious edicts, and those DO tend to be ugly.)
Are superheroes against the law in France? (poor kids!)
Of course, we can all agree viruses should be censored. But those smiles! They look like squinty-eyed skepticism now, or worse, a scold. Smiling eyes used to be a sign of good humor, a positive personality trait bequeathed to lucky men looking for women to attract. Now, ho, ho, keep those devilish eyes to yourself, mister. Well, at least we are better at poker, now.
Haha I would LOVE to see that happen! Maybe she can move on from circle to a different basic shape and say she "needs to get that squared away" then move on to "triangulating where that report could be." Then... I don't know retire I hope.
I have a dream of doing a Weird Al style parody of Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" but with Psaki singing "Circleback Girl." I just haven't had the time.
See, she could do a polygon self-depricating schtick, and win over some people with grace. I think a little humility would be an effective quality in a press secretary.
And, "Baby Got Circleback" (Might get you in trouble!)
You know, I don't like it when they change press secretaries (either side). Too much focus on the personality, or reporters learning how to game re-questions.
Of course, I extremely dislike state-of-the-unions. They should be written like in days of yore.
I'm always up for a Sir Mixalot homage. And agreed about press secretaries and your principle in general, better to focus on ability and policies etc... over personality
I wish you hadn't pulled your punches.
Haha I'm just getting rolling! I have a bunch of stuff I'm hoping to finally put up here soon; hopefully you'll enjoy it.

A mask is a censor of a smile. I sure miss those.
I love this! Very pithy

If I learned one thing from end of Good Bad and Ugly it is that you can express a lot in the eyes
Hi, M. Apollo's Lyre! I like your writng style.
I will comment more tomorrow, but let me say here I like your use of Psaki's favorite words, "Let me circle back to you."
I keep waiting for a reporter to ask, "So, Jen, are you ready to circle back on a few things today?", and then wait for her to shuffle her pages.
(Maybe someone has. I don't watch much tv.)
