I agree - I think Alter does an incredible job with his pieces - and even better, I think that's an appropriate use for that tech - if it's going to make creepy things, why not use it to make things that are intentionally creepy? It's the same as any other world building. You're using a tool and the output is only as good as the input.
I got SO ADDICTED to having to finish Harvester because I had to know how the story ends!! I played it just about straight through, which back then was WEIRD, and then I swore off behaving that way ever again!! 🤣🤣🤣

I was thinking of the amazing Lethal Weapon episode they did when I was imagining plugging Joey and The Don into famous black sitcoms like The Cosby Show or Sanford and Son, and how you could put them in terrible blackface with the rest of the actual cast and just play it straight like nobody notices the obvious. Except if they did What's Happening!! then Dee would of course notice and break the fourth wall to further mock everyone haha. I feel like if we still had In Living Color they could pull this off.
