I made a City of Heroes supergroup called X-Mas a few days ago led by Professor X-Ray Elf, who became a dentist and is very good at pulling teeth. I tried to get people to make Rudclops the Laser-Nosed Reindeer, the Abominable Iceman, Yukon Wolverinius, and whatever other misfit they could dream up to go live at the misfit isle as well as Santa who lives at the magnetic north pole and is the antagonist until he too gets to join the X-Mas, no takers, probably just because people were too busy with the holidays.
I've also joked Elon Musk, if he put an AI in everyone's brain, would make a new religion called Xianity with a holiday called X-Mas but that's less relevant and less funny in this case.
I would definitely have loved to jump in that game haha. C'mon, Rudclops the Laser-Nosed Reindeer? Abominable Iceman? That's amazing, and legitimately better than the last batch of Marvel movies haha. I'm ashamed to say I didn't know CoH was still around; that was such a cool game. Shame on people for not taking you up on that. And given Elon's love for all things "X" I could see him doing that haha. I'm just hoping it inspires him to do something good with "The X-Files" IP!
I'm not blaming them (even if they want to make their own ideas for Christmas heroes instead of using mine.) But yes, it's very around, though how it's operated is kind of weird, but also free to play now. Biggest server is Excelsior not Thunderspy but I'm considering joining Thunderspy sometime too since it has more customization, more game balance, and player housing and that sounds fun. There are also other servers like Rebirth that I know some people who have joined but we mostly play in Excelsior.
Absolutely! The books were pure fire for decades and that 90s series was just *chef's kiss* The theme song still slaps, they freaking jumped right into the deep end with Days of Future Past, and so many of the characters' voices and portrayals became their definitive versions imo (e.g. Apocalypse and Rogue)
